Working with Lois is a joy. She’s just incredible; that is, she is encouraging, positive, and friendly. Most important, you get a big project done, you have a lot of fun doing it, and credit is shared with everybody. This creates a great deal of satisfaction. One of the things I discovered, while working with Lois, was her incredible patience and calmness in all situations. She just has a knowing that it’s all going to work out well. Because of Lois’ understanding of the Japanese culture, work environment, and her ability to translate, we were able to build relationships and business partnerships.
For somebody thinking about working with Lois, I would say, you are incredibly lucky. She has a big heart, has the ability to get things done, and you’ll have a lot of fun doing it. You’re going to be so lucky to work with Lois.

Working with Lois, there was no real challenge. She provided the insight and leadership we needed to be successful. Lois brought collboration to out work that was seamless.
What’s it like working with Lois? Pleasant, very pleasant. Lois has incredible leadership skills, without being forceful or overbearing, she just makes everybody feel like they’re part of the party, and so they want to eagerly participate in whatever project that you’re working on.
Three words I would use to describe Lois Sonstegard are: talented, a leader, ver gracious. After Lois left our organization, there was a big hole. You could really tell something was missing, and it was Lois. We were just never able to replace Lois, maybe because she’s not replaceable. She is that good, and provides talented leadership that makes you thrive.

When working with Lois, there were very few challenges because she is reliable. Because of Lois’s outstanding communication skills, it is easy to work with her. She gets everyone involved in the project and helps them understand their unique role so that each person can become successful.
What kind of person is Lois to work with? She’s a reliable, hard worker. I think that whatever Lois does, she puts her whole heart and soul into it, and you can trust that Lois will complete the project energetically and in a timely way. I think anyone who has the opportunity to work with Lois would be proud to have her on their team.
I recommend Lois to everyone. I think any organization, any job, anything– would leave people happy to have her on their team. I believe that 100%. And, her cultural understanding is invaluable!

Working with Lois is very easy. She gets to know the people she works with, grasps the subject matter, identifies what’s going be needed to get the results, and then does it. To people thinking about working with Lois, I would say, get her involved early. Make sure you both have the same goals and objectives for the project. and then get out of the way because Lois will find her way through the project and she will keep you informed. She will make changes if she has to, but generally, you can be sure you’re going to get those results you’ve agreed upon. Three words I would use to describe Lois would be, she’s focused, she prepares, and she gets results.

Who is
Lois Sonstegard?
My name is Lois Sonstegard, Ph.D., and I’m the founder of Build2Morrow. I’ve spent the past 30 years working alongside busy executives as an Executive Coach – helping them take advantage of the opportunities, challenges, and changes that sometimes overwhelmed them.
I’ve helped top executives identify and capitalize on opportunities for individual and organizational success, giving them the leverage they need to not only position the companies they work for as leaders in their industries but to position themselves for advancement as well. My coaching has empowered executives and HR professionals to be more effective, optimize their promotability, streamline hiring and management practices, and significantly reduce stress and worry that can ultimately lead to diminished productivity and burnout.
If you’re a C-suite executive, you’ll benefit from my pragmatic, efficient approach to helping you succeed. I use 3 different coaching perspectives: International Coaching Federation, Stakeholder Centered Coaching, and Gallup Coaching. Being able to tap into all 3 perspectives allows me to provide you even greater.
TESTIMONIALS
O’Connell
Lois came out to have a two-day session with supervisors regarding the Clifton Strengths Finder. Not only was the large group captivated by her experiences and analogies, but we learned that each of us brings specific talent to the table. As a team, we had experienced some unique challenges and our stress levels were high. By looking at our strengths, we were able to shift our focus and begin looking at how we could more effectively use each other’s strengths to accomplish our goals. We ended up creating a chart with all of our strengths listed and in what order. Now we are all able to reference that chart for specific project needs and create the best team for tackling that project. There is so much variety within our team and now we can use our group talents in a more targeted and meaningful way. Lois really helps to break down what each strength means and how we need to fully leverage our strengths to draw upon what we need for each situation. I would highly recommend Lois as a coach.
Danburry
I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to have Lois as a coach! She took the time to get to know me and listen to my concerns before she customized our sessions to meet my needs. With the help from Lois, I gained a better understanding of my individual Strengths and how they impact me in my personal life and at my organization. I feel like I learned more about myself at a deeper level and have a greater sense of fulfillment. I would definitely encourage others who are interested in learning how to maximize their Strengths to consider working with Lois!

When I first met Lois, I was without direction. I didn’t think I could do much. I lacked confidence and did not see personal strengths. As a result, I has settled for being a mail carrier job as my life’s career. I thought that was all I could be. In talking with and working with Lois, I began to see new possibilities and I was challenged to search for what I really wanted. I am grateful for the steady help Lois provided. After seven years, I am now completing my second year of medical school! It is a dream come true!
