Welcome to Episode 34 of Building My Legacy.
In this podcast Julie Beckerman talks about relationships – their importance in building a legacy and the challenges they present. Julie specializes in helping people redefine their relationships as they navigate divorce and co-parenting. That’s so important today as so many people deal with divorce and adapt to their new, blended families. But her experience can also help all of us as we balance a family and career and encounter individuals with high-conflict personalities in all aspects of life.
It isn’t easy to sustain a relationship, and it’s even more difficult to rebuild one. When you are building a career and developing leadership capabilities, there’s never enough time for everything, and the challenges can be overwhelming. It’s not unusual to wake up one day and ask, “What is happening to my relationships?” Julie’s life story, her insights and her experience working with clients going through the divorce process will be helpful to all of us who are re-evaluating what matters in life as we build our legacy.
So if you want to know:
- Why it’s critical to differentiate between judgment and facts
- How to navigate the “emotional overwhelm” that’s part of life
